For many products offered by Modellbahn Union you have the chance to order additional services that will come together with the model.
Loco digitalization:
The DCC service can be selected for most locomotives via the click field or in the shopping cart. Benefit from the service of our specialist workshop. The package price includes both the decoder and the installation. As standard, we install DCC compatible decoders by Doehler & Hass or ESU. For AC models, mfx-enabled decoders are selected. Please note that the selection of the decoder is up to our technicians and takes into account the conditions of each model. The price for the digitization service can be found at the respective model.
Axle change:
Almost all European manufacturers offer the exchange of wheelsets to AC or DC for wagon models. With us you have the opportunity to order this exchange, normally free of charge, directly from us together with the model. All models suitable for replacement have the corresponding service as a click box in the article and in the shopping cart.
Interior lighting:
The interior lighting service is available for models suitable for this option. Both the lighting and the installation are included in the package price. We use LED lighting by Malutronik. You can choose between different lighting colours. The interior lighting is permanetly on and can´t be switched off.
Please note that this service is only offered for DC models and is only designed for two-wire operation. No decoder is installed. The price for the interior lighting service can be found at the respective model.
Please note: A model equipped with interior lighting by us complies with the rules for custom-made products and is therefore excluded from the revocation.
