Modellbahn-Kurier 56 - Digital 2023
The main topic of this issue is automatic layout operation without PC and control software. There are numerous possibilities for this, from Uhlenbrock's MARCo modules to Arduino self-assembly, from pendulum operation with ABC to complex sequences with Märklin's CS3. Other control centres also offer automatic sequences. Thanks to digital technology, there are more and more models whose functionality goes far beyond prototypical operation and the appropriate soundscape. We show current examples from ESU, Märklin, Roco & Co. Among them also the innovative CARmotion system from Viessmann. Impressive and, of course, fully digitalised is the club layout of the Modelleisenbahnfreunde am oberen Neckar e.V., which is still under construction and is presented in a detailed portrait. In addition to other articles and the current announcements of new products for the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2023, we also present the latest deliveries of the past model year. Contents: The third layout, CarMotion by Viessmann, Sophisticated novelties, From Blunami to YaMoRC, Digital novelties 2023, digital high-tech, fascinating motion sequences, self-made automatics, a good start with Fleischmann, decoder inputs by Märklin, the ABC of commuting, automatics with Uhlenbrock, LocoNet automatics, commuting with command stations, Zimo scripts, automatic DCC-A registration with Tams, CS3 automatics.
