Model: TT gauge DC. Reissue with new road number. The vehicles from kuehn-modell are long to scale, have cradles for close couplings at both ends and the driving trailer offers red-bright light change. The driving trailer has a digital decoder in the driver's cab that is invisible from the outside and takes over the light management. Analogue railway enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the top lights shine brightly or redly depending on the direction of travel, even at slow speeds. Digital railway enthusiasts use the wagon digitally out of the box without any tinkering and assign the vehicle its own address for the light change.

Prototype: After the DR Reichsbahn initially had fixed-coupled articulated trains with double-decker cars in use, they reallocated them for practical reasons. In 1974, the first series of double-deck single wagons was delivered. Only five years later, these vehicles were repainted in "fawn-birch grey" - which earned them the nickname "mustard pots". These wagons were also used in Berlin's local traffic, where they were given a red-beige colour scheme and their own nickname: "Sputnik". In 1986, a slightly modified second series followed, and in 1991, even a third. Following the current circumstances, the German railways repainted the "DR-Dostos" after reunification in white-mint green (even with the DR logo in light green!) and finally in the ubiquitous traffic red.
