Model: TT gauge. Laser cut kit made of graphic cardboard. The model house “Am Horn” is a Bauhaus test house erected in Weimar. The reason for the construction of this single house was the first Bauhaus exhibition in 1923. It served as a visual object for how the Bauhaus imagined future communal life and work. The "Haus Am Horn" project was extremely important for the Bauhaus school, because it was the first time that workshops were planned, built and furnished together. The model house is the only example of the Bauhaus that was completed in Weimar. In 1996 the building was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO as part of The Bauhaus and its Sites in Weimar, Dessau and Bernau. (Source: Wikipedia)
