Model: HOe gauge DC. Zugspitzbahn with two 4-axle passenger cars. Cars including interior lighting, 18-pole interface and digitally switchable headlights in the direction of travel.
 

Prototype: The Bayrische Zugspitzbahn of the Bayrische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG is, along with the Wendelsteinbahn, one of the oldest mountain railways in Germany. The line leads from Garmisch Partenkirchen directly to the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. The line begins with the valley line between Garmisch Partenkirchen and Grainau, from there the steep line to the Zugspitze turns into a rack railway. Currently, the valley locomotive 1 and 4 and the 4-axle passenger cars are still in use.

Hobbytrain was founded as a small series manufacturer in Austria. The Lemke company took over the moulds and rights in 2002. Since then, the Lemke company has been producing its own models under the Hobbytrain brand name. The range mainly includes models in N gauge, as well as H0 gauge.
