Model: HO gauge direct current. Equipped with motor, flywheel, 18-pin digital interface, light change (can be switched individually in digital operation), cab lighting (can be switched in digital operation), interior lighting, interior fittings, loudspeaker, NEM coupling mounts, bracket couplings.
Recommended minimum radius 360mm.

We use a decoder from D&H for the digital version or from Zimo for the digital sound version for digitalization ex works. The sound version comes with sound created exclusively for us and additional noises. You select the factory equipment with sound by clicking on the checkboxes "Digital" and "with sound" above the shopping cart field for the item. Both versions can also be used analogue.

Note: An AC version of this model is not currently planned. The large wheel base causes problems when assembling a grinder in curves, so conversion is not easily possible.

Prototype: The rail bus was built by MAN between 1956 and 1969 and delivered to various private railways. It was available in one- and two-engine versions with MAN diesel engines from its own production. Depending on the version, the railbuses had 66-70 seats and an engine power of 150-200 hp. The vehicles were used individually or in double and triple traction. Some companies also used the model to pull freight cars. A total of 60 vehicles were built. Multiple changes of ownership resulted in a large number of color and paint variants. The area of application extended across Germany, currently there are still several rail buses in regular museum use.
Variations of this product
Modellbahn Union was founded in 1999 under the name JapanModelRailways. The focus was initially on importing railway models from Japan.
Over the years, the range has been expanded to include model making items such as aircraft and military model construction as well as model railways from other countries.
