Model: HO gauge AC. Electric locomotive E669.1 CSD.
Prototype: The six-axle electric locomotives of the E 669.1 series have proven themselves in heavy freight transport for more than half a century. They were developed from the two prototypes of the E 660.0 class with the aim of eliminating the need for double traction freight trains. Delivered by Škoda to the Czechoslovak State Railways (CSD) in the early 1960s, a total of 150 units were built and used on the direct current network in the north and east of the former Czechoslovakia. With the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, the entire series, now designated 181, was transferred to the new Czech Railways (CD). Five units are still in service today as shunting locomotives under the auspices of CD Cargo.
