Model: HO gauge DC. The first German steam locomotive Saxonia of the Leipzig-Dresden Railway Company with a historic wagon train. The only authentic information from the construction period of the Saxonia comes from N. N. W. Meißner, whereby the following information about the Saxonia should be mentioned:
Wheelbase of the dome axles: 1,518 mm (from drawing), wheel diameter of the dome axles: 1,416 mm, boiler diameter: 910 mm, number of smoke tubes: 90, tube diameter: 38 mm, boiler length (middle of long boiler): 1,979 mm, service mass: 11 Mp, speed: approx 50 km/h.
The historic cars:
The Saxonia included a closed freight car, two different passenger cars with carriage-shaped individual compartments and an open freight car. The latter is nothing more than an equipped carriage for travelers who could not part with their own carriage during the train journey.
