Model: HO gauge AC. The first German steam locomotive with a historic wagon train.
Prototype: The Saxonia locomotive of the Leipzig-Dresden Railroad Company (LDE, proper spelling in capital letters) was the first functioning steam locomotive built in Germany. It was built in 1838 in a Dresden suburb, downgraded to a reserve locomotive in 1843 after running over 8000 kilometers, and scrapped in 1849. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the railroad line, a replica was built in the 1980s.
