Prototype: From 1882 to 1910, around 1,550 tank locomotives of the T3 type in various designs were delivered to the Prussian State Railways (K.P.E.V.) and other state railways. As a type Cn2, the locomotive in the M III-4p version had a friction load of 36 t and could reach a maximum speed of 40 km/h with an output of 300 PSi.
But numerous other railways at home and abroad, from factory railways to state railways, also had the machines in their fleet. The small locomotives were also active in Italy. There they were classified as series 999.

Here, too, Roco is a pioneer. The Roco factory in Arad was the first factory in the model railway industry to be certified according to ISO 9001 by the German DQS GmbH.
