Model: HO gauge AC. With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel mass in the boiler. 5 axles powered. Traction tyres. The locomotive and tub tender are constructed mostly of metal. The locomotive is equipped for the 7226 smoke unit. The dual headlights change over with the direction of travel and the smoke unit can be retrofitted and will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. Close coupler with kinematics between locomotive and tender. The rear of the tender and the front of the locomotive have a close coupler with NEM shaft and a NEM buffer height at the front. Minimum passable radius 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses and screw coupler imitations are included.

In 2009 Märklin celebrated its 150th anniversary.
