Model: HO gauge. Lorry collectors also love the special, the extraordinary. Modellbau Schwarz, a new name in the 1:87 model world, has set itself precisely this goal: Fine models whose detailing goes even beyond Herpa's already high standard. With many details, the model appears in a unique edition.

Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.

In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
