Model: HO gauge. The series of grey/yellow construction vehicles has been supplemented by this combination, a DAF XG semitrailer tractor without chassis cladding and with a stock liner trailer. For the realisation of the new DAF XG/XG+ tractor unit in the version without chassis cladding, a new lower part of the cab and a new tread plate with corresponding exhaust cover have become necessary.
Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.
In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
