Model:HO gauge DC. Brass handmade small series model.

Fulgurex wants to continue the series of old Swiss locomotives. After the saddle tank locomotives, the B 3/4 series was built. Although it is the largest series of Swiss steam locomotives ever built, this machine has never been tackled by a model railway manufacturer.

The models are built by hand from brass, are equipped with a high-quality precision motor and of course digital DCC with an ESU decoder. Each model corresponds to the respective epoch and is unique in itself. The series is limited to a total of 170 machines.

Prototype: As a result of strong traffic growth, the Jura-Simplon (JS) Bahn ordered 75 locomotives with the designation B 3/4 from the Lokomotivfabrik Winterthur. These locomotives, primarily designed as strong machines for passenger and freight trains on the mountain routes, have proven themselves in terms of performance and economy, which is why SBB took over all the machines and even commissioned an additional 79 locomotives that ran until 1907 were delivered. The SBB stock was 147 of this type. This is the largest number of locomotives of all series that SBB has ever had in stock. The B 3/4 of No. 1601-1675 (ex JS no 301- 375) and 1676-1747 were used on all SBB routes, from Lake Constance to Lake Geneva, and were found practically at every train station. The last locomotives (No. 1608, 1617, 1695 and 1721) were retired in 1945; due to the war, these locomotives were partly equipped with wood firing. Incidentally, locomotive number 336 of the JS-Bahn was presented at the world exhibition in Paris in the typical "Jura Simplon look". 5 SBB machines were sold to the Dutch State Railways from 1945. These were the locomotives no 1608, 1617, 1695, 1721 and 1729. These locomotives were renumbered "NS 3001-3005". Unfortunately there is no longer a locomotive of this series today. The machines cannot be compared with the later B 3/4 No. 1301-1369. <p>
Accessories
Antonio Giansanti Coluzzi, a collector of tin railways founded the model railway shop Fulgurex in Switzerland in 1947. It also became the official distributor of the VB brand. In 1962, the production of their own brass models began in cooperation with Tenshodo.

The first model produced was a steam locomotive 141 R in H0 gauge. In the following years, Fulgurex brought further models in gauges 0; 1 and N onto the market.

Fulgurex has always been known for its finely detailed handcrafted locomotives.
