Model: HO scale. Bright Bosch colors and advertising for spark plugs. 13 years after the VW T1, Wiking is also releasing the second generation of the beautiful Bosch Doka: The T2 Doka from the Swabian automotive supplier celebrates with its new tarpaulin the entire art of printing, which turns the model into a contemporary showcase model. The Bosch advertising experts recognized the basic color harmony early on when fine red building strips were added to the bright yellow base paint. The T2 achieves this inimitable eye-catching effect both through the bumpers and through the pleasantly contrasting glazing area, which extends over the edge of the platform. While the tarpaulin flanks with prototypical folds advertise the legendary spark plugs, the rear doors of the Doka point to Bosch's second core competency, car batteries. After 1967, the model of the double cab was built by VW in Hanover-Stöcken - a success story in itself. Wiking has documented the long history of VW buses and transporters on a scale of 1:87 over the decades with greater commitment than any other car model brand. And with each miniature the model building story continues.
Traffic red upper body part with traffic yellow roof surface, lower body part in traffic yellow. Chassis in black. Bumpers in traffic red, steering wheel in black. Interior with front and rear bench in cream beige. Traffic red rims with silver hubcaps. Headlights with a silver background, taillights with red. Platform limitation printed in traffic red. Front indicators printed orange. Bulli forehead with silver VW logo. Side printing with lettering and multi-colored Bosch battery photo. Silver plated door handles. Tarpaulin printing with Bosch lettering and multicolored spark plug photo.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
