Model: Gauge H0. MiniKits are original Herpa models as kits for model railroaders and collectors. Due to the Herpa snap-on design, MiniKits can be assembled in a few simple steps without glue (assembly instructions are included). In this way, the model layout can be equipped inexpensively with cars or a car transport train can be loaded inexpensively with cars. And airbrushers can paint the body in the color of their choice before assembly.

Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.

In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
