Model: HO gauge. After the civilian colour variants and the taxis, the legendary ""tail fin"", the Mercedes-Benz 200 (model series 110), is now also appearing as an emergency vehicle. This fire engine is based on the model used by the Schorndorf volunteer fire brigade.

Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.

In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
