Model: HO gauge. First it was ANEXCO, which abbreviated the shipping company name "Algemene Nederlandse EXpeditie Compagnie" and was used for cross-border paper and cardboard transport. In 1965 the Dutch owners sold their shares to the German transport company Rhenus and the name was changed to Newexco. He was the house haulier of the German paper mill Nordland, which explains the name "Nordtrans" of the German branch. Over the decades, the distinctive truck trains have been part of the street scene in cross-border traffic. The Volvo F88 is particularly noticeable due to its typically Dutch design - with surface printing on the doors and roof sign. It is a real classic that exudes the authentic forwarding ambience of the late 1960s.
Cab with roof sign melon yellow, interior fittings silver gray. Chassis with cardan component, front bumper, rear fenders and air filter black-green. Black radiator grille with silver-printed Volvo lettering and type symbols. Saddle plate silver. Black green rims. Roof sign with black and green lettering "Newexco". Door printing with black-green areas and white lettering "Newexco". Side indicators with silver door handle and silver type lettering "Volvo" and "F88". Window borders as well as front windshield wipers and grab handles, but also side grab bars are black. Semi-trailer with black-green chassis and rims as well as pearly white body with roof and doors. Case printing with two circumferential melon yellow design stripes as well as black and green “Newexco” lettering and integrated company logo.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
