Model: HO scale. Good advertising: Scania L111 in the style of the truck builders. The Scania L111 stands for the typical hood trucks that the Swedes built up until the 1980s. At that time, the traditional double name Scania-Vabis had just been dropped. Wiking miniaturized the Swedish tractor in the last series version, when the opening windows were already history on the prototype. The model debut of the Scania stanchion semi-trailer appears in the same color scheme as the Swedish truck builders sent it onto the track for the advertising campaigns of the time. The driver's cab and bonnet have an integrated radiator grille, while the three windows at the rear of the cab, including the rounded side windows, appear glazed. The sides of the cab are given a grab handle, but the engravings on the door handles, body beads and rain gutters are also prototypical. The cab roof can be used for various functions such as inserting warning lights or roof signs. The fenders are given a step with longitudinal engravings, while the recessed headlights are filigreed with an eyelash engraving. The headlights are designed as a concave surface.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
