Model: Gauge HO. Herzer Bau & Transport GmbH from Vienna can now look back on over 140 years of experience. Founded as a coal business and milk business, Johann Herzer expanded his business in 1881 to include a wagon company with up to 70 wagons. Both world wars were fought. The company developed with constant growth and today has almost 200 employees and a fleet of over 100 trucks and 30 construction machines. The Scania building material trailer with loading crane is given the white hood using stencil painting, which is done by hand. A variety of prints are necessary to make the model resemble the original. The elaborately crafted model is released in a limited edition. Finished model made of plastic, painted and printed.
Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.
In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
