Model: HO Gauge. Scania CR 20 HD 6x2 volume tarpaulin semi-trailer 5a Spiess. Gerhard Spiess founded his transport company in 1991 and initially drove all the freight himself. After just two years, the company expanded to five vehicles, which increased over the years. The sons Roger (2014) and Thommy (2018) trained as professional drivers and joined the company. The well-maintained fleet offers a wide range of transport options. This 8-axle semi-trailer is released in a limited edition.
The finished model is made of plastic, painted and printed.
Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.
In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
