Model: HO scale. A small, fine Opel articulated lorry under the leadership of a short-nosed vehicle. The small articulated lorry could be seen in the Opel brochure at the time, based entirely on the example of the Dinkel coachbuilder. Wiking founder Fritz Peltzer decided to build the Opel Blitz in several variants. The short-nosed Blitz, presented by Opel in 1960, found its place in the program as a flatbed semitrailer a short time later. Today, semi-trailers with an Opel Blitz tractor unit are a real rarity in the wide range of classic vehicles.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
