The building impresses with its typical North German architecture, featuring red brickwork and a distinctive roof structure. The precisely laser-cut brickwork is particularly noteworthy, creating a highly realistic appearance. The raised "Kampen" station lettering is also reproduced to scale, lending the model additional authenticity.
Until 1970, the Sylt Island Railway stopped here, its lines shaping island life for decades. The station was located near the famous Kampen lighthouse, making the building an excellent fit for scenes of a North German coastal landscape.
