This miniature model depicts three hot blast stoves, which play a central role in the ironworks: They ensure that red-hot air flows through the hot blast ring mains into the blast furnace, transforming the iron oxide into liquid pig iron. The model is precisely matched to the Meiderich blast furnace and adds another fascinating technical detail to it.
