Prototype: The class 185.2 is an electric dual-system locomotive with a crash-optimized locomotive body from Bombardier Transportation. It can be used on both AC voltage systems common in Europe: 15 kV/16 2/3 Hz and 25 kV/50 Hz.
The 185 389 was delivered to DB AG in 2009 and is registered for Germany and Austria. As part of an extensive cooperation in the transport of new cars between the DB-AG Group and the automobile manufacturer Audi, the locomotive received an eye-catching special design.
