An important part of the LokSound system is the loudspeaker. Therefore, only specially designed loudspeakers tuned to the sound decoder are used. Here is the old truism: the bigger the speaker, the better the sound. For this reason, speakers are offered in a variety of sizes. An essential accessory is the sound capsule, which gives the loudspeaker diaphragm the necessary sound pressure and is supplied with most loudspeakers. If you are not sure which speaker fits in your model, then we generally recommend opening the locomotive and measuring it with a ruler. We can not give any general recommendations on the speaker sizes, because locomotive manufacturers often (tacitly) change the inner workings. It is best to rely on your own observation!
