Model: Gauge H0 DC. With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with flywheel, centrally mounted. All four axles driven via cardan shafts. Traction tires. Triple headlights and two red taillights change over with the direction of travel, in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can each be digitally switched off separately. Double-A light function. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. The driver turns to face the respective direction of travel and looks out the window when stationary. Telex coupling and cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Coupler waltz. Driver's cab with relief interior. Buffer height according to NEM standards. Separately applied grab rails, railings, and imitation automatic couplers. Additional steps under the driver's cab for larger track radii and brake hoses are included as separately attachable parts.
Prototype: German Railroad (DB) class 294 heavy diesel switcher. Traffic red basic paint scheme. Road number 294 863-6. Operating condition as of 2007.
