Model: HO gauge AC. With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally mounted flywheel. Two axles in each bogie powered by cardan shafts. Traction tyres. Direction-independent switchable headlights consisting of four lamps at the front and four lamps at the rear of the locomotive. The headlights are in conventional operation and can be turned off separately in digital operation in pairs. The cab lighting, road number boards, high beams and flashing function of the headlights can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white LEDs are used for the lighting. Smoke generator with dynamic smoke output installed as standard, can be controlled digitally. Many separately applied details. For operation with claw couplers, the NEM shaft can be fixed in place with the enclosed clamping pieces. A rail scraper with a smaller recess for the front, brake hoses and two clamping pieces for the NEM shaft are included.

Prototype: General Electric ES44AC heavy diesel-electric freight locomotive of the Norfolk Southern (NS). Basic color scheme in Tuscan Red of the former Pennsylvania RR. Road number 8102. Current operating condition as a heritage locomotive.
