Even construction expert Züblin swore by the Unimog U 411

The construction expert Züblin acquired an expertise that is still valid today at national and international construction sites. In the process, the construction company also used the Unimog U 411, which was primarily used as a workhorse for on-site load transport. The WIKING team developed according to an authentic model, because actually the 411 according to the WIKING documentation pulled concrete pipe parts to the place of application. The U 411 was originally designed by the Gebrüder Boehringer for agricultural multi-purpose use - compact is the original as well as the 87-fold reduction. At the DLG exhibition in Frankfurt in 1948, the role model, which later became a legend as a Unimog, celebrated its premiere. Back in March 1949, the Boehringer brothers mass-produced the agricultural and forestry tractor in Göppingen, before the production facility was relocated to the decades-long Unimog location in Gaggenau in 1951 and Daimler-Benz took over the direction of the type family.

Unimog body yellow, chassis with gimbal and interior and steering wheel black. Rims traffic red. Platform insert silver. Headlight painted by hand. Window frame signal yellow printed on glazing. Grille with Mercedes-Benz star silvered. Black Züblin logo on the bonnet and on the side doors. Headlight silvered by hand in front. Rungenanhänger with signal yellow plank and stakes. Chassis, double mudguard, drawbar and turntable black. Rims traffic red. Concrete pipes dunkelachatgrau.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
