Modern computers usually have no serial interface anymore. Is the LokProgrammer delivered for many years with a USB adapter cable. Unfortunately, it has been shown that the previous cable supplied by us with ESU ESU with Windows Vista or Windows 7 does not work properly or it depends very much on the driver and the computing environment, whether it works or not. But even under Windows XP, it can with the new, optimized for modern Windows systems LokProgrammer Software 4.x.x. Problems occur when using the old cable. The new cable works perfectly with all ESU software releases and all Windows operating systems. It is based on a USB 2.0 chip from FTDI, which offers excellent drivers.
