The LokProgrammer is the ideal tool for programming all ESU decoders. The LokProgrammer consists of two core components: an interface module, which establishes the physical connection between the PC and the locomotive, and a software component, which runs on every PC under MS Windows. With this combination, it is possible to conveniently set the various features and settings of the ESU decoder. Thanks to the graphical user interface of Windows, the optimal adaptation of a decoder, which so far has no or little experience with the "programming" of digital decoders, succeeds. In addition, it is possible with the LokProgrammer to subsequently change all sounds stored on a LokSound decoder. The software of the LokProgrammer requires as a basis a commercial PC. It should have the following requirements: Operating system Microsoft Windows XP SP3 or higher, Installed Microsoft .Net Framework Version 3.5 (including SP1), Optical drive. A USB 2.0 port or a free serial port (COM port), Internet connection to carry out online updates.
