Model: HO gauge AC. CD Cargo class 372 electric locomotive. Model in a finely detailed design with many separately attached plug-in parts. Completely newly developed pantographs with innovative attachment. Elaborate design of the roof area and the fan fins with a clear view. Filigree design of the bogies and the spoked wheels. With enclosed course clearers and air tanks for prototypical display cases. Representation of the modified LED lamps with prototypical cold white LEDs. Driver's cab and control panel lighting as well as engine room lighting. Newly developed "Dynamic Sound" package for even better bass sound with two loudspeakers.

Prototype: For continuous electrical operation on the DresdenPrague railway line, the CSD, together with the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR), procured a total of 35 multi-system locomotives, which operated both on the 3 kV DC network of the CSSR and on the 15 kV AC network of the GDR could be used. After testing a prototype, fourteen series machines were put into operation from 1991 and stationed in the Decin locomotive depot.
With the founding of the CD Cargo freight division in 2007, nine locomotives were assigned to the new company. Thanks to the fact that until 2016 they were the only CD Cargo locomotives that could be used on the German railway network, all locomotives were gradually modernized and painted in the new company colors.
In addition to the main area of ??application for transporting trains at the Decin/Bad Schandau border crossing (and on to Dresden and Leipzig), they are occasionally used in domestic traffic and also reach the border stations to Poland.

Variations of this product
Founded in 1960 as a manufacturer of plastic products (sand buckets, miniature military vehicles), the company is now one of the world's leading providers of model railways as an innovation leader. The first locomotives were produced in 1976. The models were characterized by precision and authenticity right from the start and established the company's reputation for quality early on. In addition, Roco has always thought further about model railways and stimulated the industry with innovations. Over the decades, the wagons that are not shortened in length, the more prototypical tracks with less high rail profiles or the "snag-free" close couplings should be mentioned. A milestone for the future is the cutting-edge Z21 control system, which for the first time combines the virtual and real game worlds and thus raises the play value of model railways to a completely new level. Company headquarters are in Bergheim/Salzburg. Roco has a global presence and, via Modelleisenbahn München GmbH, is a company of Modelleisenbahn Holding GmbH, which also includes the German quality manufacturer Fleischmann. Roco relies on valuable and manual work. This is the only way to create the detailed, highly reliable and functional miniatures. Comprehensive quality management with internal and external quality assurance measures ensures that Roco locomotive and wagon owners receive the best quality and can enjoy their models for a long time. Here, too, Roco is a pioneer. The Roco factory in Arad was the first factory in the model railway industry to be certified according to ISO 9001 by the German DQS GmbH.
