Application: for analogue and digital model railway layouts, for model construction and diorama construction, for all nominal sizes.
Procedure: After the switching input has been briefly connected to ground, the individual tubes flicker prototypically for a while until they all light up gradually. Every firing pattern is a little different. If the switching input is briefly connected to ground, the light is switched off. If the switching input is permanently connected to ground, a defective fluorescent tube is simulated at output 1. This flickers at irregular intervals for a short time, where it is sometimes fast and sometimes slowly bright.
