When the Saviem with MAN soul drove through France. It is a saviem with the soul of MAN. In fact, the two truck manufacturers from Germany and France at the end of the 1960s, in the face of the great competition, tried to establish themselves as full-liners. Saviem delivered the "light" trucks for MAN, MAN in turn provided the "heavy" trucks - changed only the grille with the relevant brand names. Accordingly, the French refrigerated goods logistics operator Lacroix provided for a year-long presence of the actual MAN trucks in French long-distance traffic and was nevertheless sworn to Saviem.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
