Model: HO gauge. "The Egg" by Sportberger as a holiday home. The first glance was enough - and the name said it all: the Sportberger L3 went down in caravan history simply as "the egg". In the 1950s, it marked the beginning of a leisure society in Germany. The kidney shape, which was extremely popular at the time and ultimately turned the caravan into a "square egg", dates back to the late 1930s, when the first caravans ensured the independence of their car owners. Those summer visitors should still enjoy the Sportberger in the 1950s. Ultimately, holiday life took place in front of the caravan – at night it was considered safe accommodation.
Caravan with body and side panel in light ivory. Window insert topaz tinted. Rims silver. Silvered decorative strips on the sides and flank surface printed in quartz grey. Curtains printed in light yellow.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
