The Seuthe-105-Leicht steam smoke distillate is ideal for pulsed smoke generators. The smoke development occurs more evenly.
At the end of the 1950s and beginning of the 1960s, the company was founded by engineer Eberhard Seuthe. Especially in the 1960s, several innovations were developed for the H0 gauge. The steam generators developed by Seuthe were first shown in 1959 on the trolley bus demonstration layout of the Braun-Brawa company. However, the steam generator did not receive attention until the 10th International Toy Fair in Nuremberg in 1959.
The following year Märklin presented their first locomotive equipped with a steam generator. Since then, steam generators have been part of the Märklin range. The range is still on the market today with steam generators for models in various gauge sizes.
