Model: HO gauge. Finished model made of plastic, painted and printed. Body pure orange with white roof and bars as well as upgraded with clear lacquer finishing, interior with seats and steering wheel kept in black. Chassis and bumpers painted chrome silver, radiator grille printed silver. Headlights transparent, rear lights red-transparent. Side door handles, "Taunus 17M" lettering in silver. Bonnet and tailgate with silver lettering "Taunus" and "17M". Silver rims. Tyres have whitewall rings. Front turn signals hand-painted orange.

Wiking started their first production of traffic models in Berlin. For 85 years, impressive models have been created there that are the mirror image of German automobile manufacturing. Now the Wiking range is designed and produced in south-west Germany by the Sieper Group. The range is constantly growing with new examples such as fire engine turntable ladders and passenger cars, but also current tractors as well as various classics. Not only current examples are brought out in miniature, but also forgotten models.
