Model: HO gauge. Finished model made of plastic, painted and printed. In the field of historic motorsport, the German mineral oil brand Liqui Moly is in the limelight on a Porsche 944. The car belongs to Autohaus Macht in Eckental and is prepared and used by the team alongside the red Herpa BMW M3 for historic motorsport events.

Wilhelm Hergenröther founded the company in Nuremberg in 1949. The company name is composed of the name Hergenröther Patent. Initially, the company produced model railway accessories. In 1961, Riwa-Plastik, a plastic parts manufacturer for the photo and phono industry, was founded.

In 1965, Herpa was taken over by this company. Both brand names continue to be used. The first 1/87th scale car model was presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Two years later, the first truck model in the same scale followed. Over the years, the magazine "MASS:STAB" is published. Since then, six copies have been published annually.
