Model: HO gauge. Kit. Prototype: Max. 800 t can be lifted with the LTR 1800. The caterpillar suspension has 2 hydraulic individual drives on each side, which are driven by the engine in the upper car. This 10 cylinder diesel engine, make Daimler-Benz OM 423 A, provides an output of 300 kW/408 hp. It also controls all movements of the crane. The telescopic boom consists of the 19.3 m long piece of light and 3 telescopic parts, which can be pushed over to a total length of 60 m. Construction with a telescopic boom, caterpillar chassis, ballast on the upper car and central ballast on the chassis results in a operating weight of approx. 470 t. Caterpillar cranes are mainly used when the crane work at the scene lasts for a long time, a crane method is required in the construction site area and the soil conditions for car cranes are unfavorable.
