Model: HO gauge. The world-famous German engineer, designer and industrial Gottlieb Daimler was born in Schorndorf near Stuttgart in 1834. In 1882 Daimler moved to a villa in Cannstatt and converted the garden shed to the workshop for his constructions and attempts. There he worked with Wilhelm Maybach on the idea of ??individual mobility. The two worked here day and night with absolute confidentiality and neither family nor employees knew what was going on in the house in the garden. In 1886 Daimler built his engine into a carriage, which is what he is considered to be inventor of the four-wheeled motor vehicle. After a successful engine finding, the garden house quickly became too small for Daimler and Maybach and Daimler moved to a larger factory building with his workshop in 1887. The garden shed is now a lovingly original and detailed memory. Here the first steps to invent the petrol engine were taken and the Daimler's vision, for vehicles to water, on the country and in the air, to construct a portable universal engine can still be felt on the premises today.
