Many railcars are provided at both ends with a grinder. For proper function in block locations and for timely stopping in front of red signals, it is essential that only one grinder is used to power the decoder, depending on the direction of travel. This is ensured by the slider changeover. It is hung between the pantographs and a LokPilot or LokSound decoder with 21MTC interface. These generate a control signal that evaluates the wiper switching electronics and switches the "right" wiper. This works perfectly in digital and analog mode. The base of the board has the dimensions 43mm x 24mm.
Note: The LokPilot Basic V1.0 is not suitable for the slider switch electronics.
