The new eight-fold Doehler & Haass brake module enables asymmetrical digital voltages to be generated at low cost. For each track section you can set separately whether the asymmetry for braking or for slow travel should be generated. Since the asymmetry is only generated when the track signal is also evaluated by the decoder, there is no difference in brightness when lighting when entering or exiting the braking section. Dimensions [mm]: 102 x 63 x 24, operating mode SX1, SX2, DCC, total load capacity: 2.5 A, maximum current per braking section: 2.5 A, maximum driving voltage: 30 V, asymmetry: 2.0 V. Setting options: The DIP switches on the brake module can be used to set separately for each track section whether asymmetry is to be generated for braking or slow travel. No further settings on the brake module are required. In vehicle decoders from Doehler & Haass, operation with asymmetry in the braking section is activated by CV27 / bit 0 and / or bit 1. The maximum speed for slow travel is set in CV123. A costly braking distance can be achieved by using the functionality of the "braking ramp" by CV154 or CV155. The brake module has been designed for use with the digital formats DCC and SX1 and SX2. Please note that we cannot guarantee correct functioning in connection with other formats (e.g. MM) and / or vehicle decoders from the competitors!
