LokPilot 5 Fx DCC Funktionsdecoder 8-pin NEM652
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC is a function decoder without a motor output and therefore perfect for installation in control cars or function models. As the "twin brother" of the LokPilot 5 Fx, it shares its properties and also the basic properties of all other LokPilot 5 decoders, but is a pure DCC decoder. The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC is supplied in three versions: In addition to the "classic" version with an 8-pin NEM 652 cable harness, a version for the 21MTC interface and with a PluX22 interface is also available Operating modes
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC is a "thoroughbred" DCC decoder. 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2 and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders log on to a suitable digital center fully automatically.
It masters all DCC programming modes and, thanks to RailCom®, the CV values ??on the main track can be read out with suitable central units. Auxiliary registers exist for central units that can only program CVs from 1-255.
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC decoder recognizes the Märklin® braking sections as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake modules or with direct voltage is also possible. It also stops with a Selectrix® braking diode. An ABC automatic shuttle train enables automatic commuting between two train stations. Although this decoder has of course no motor output, this is also important for a function decoder in order to be able to synchronize the control car and the motor car.
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC decoder can be used on analogue direct current railways.
The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically "on-the-fly". Usually nothing needs to be adjusted.
Features
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC has been equipped with a surprising number of function outputs. Depending on the interface design, each LokPilot 5 Fx DCC decoder offers at least 10 amplified function outputs, each with an output current of 250 mA. In the versions with PluX22 or 21MTC interface there are also 4 outputs for controlling servos or logic level outputs. All important light functions are available. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately.
Teamwork
The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC is designed to interact with the LokSound 5 and LokPilot 5 decoders: For example, it is possible to equip the locomotive of a multiple unit with a LokSound 5 decoder and the control car with a LokPilot 5 Fx DCC. Assuming the same address, both behave absolutely identically. The identical arrangement of the CVs makes it easier to coordinate the two decoders.
Operational safety
On request, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 Fx DCC to bridge dirty rail sections.
Protection
Of course, the outputs are protected against overload. We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible.

ESU has existed for over 25 years and is only known to most model railroaders because of its innovative digital technology (decoder and system control), but since 2012 also because of suitable, innovative and realistic implementations of locomotives, passenger cars and freight cars. The digital center ECoS, LokPilot 5, LokSound 5 and the Nano decoders are the distance horses in the ESU range. Modellbahn Union also cooperates very closely with ESU and has already had exclusive sound models implemented for its own products as well as remaining stock. At the same time, further exclusive models in the rolling area are sought, as well as close cooperation in the implementation of Modellbahn Union's own products.
