Block section module for reverse loops BM3K

If you want to lead a block track, which you build with the BM3, through a reverse loop, then you need, in addition to the LK200, of course, a special BM3 module, the BM3K, and of it equal to 2 pieces. The reason lies in the reporting line, which consists only of a wire, which is very convenient in the "normal case". In this special case, however, the potential is reversed by the reverse loop module, so the message via the message line would no longer work. Therefore, in the case of the reverse loop, we have to make the reporting line independent of the potential present on the track - and we succeed with the two modified BM3K. The following blocks are then returned to normal BM3. Dimensions: 53 x 60 x 20 mm.
* To drive signals with dual coils (or motors) the adapter BMA is required.

ABC: brakes, block sections, shuttle trains with digital plus
Digital plus ABC (AutomaticBrakingControl) technology, in conjunction with all current Digital plus locomotive decoders (as well as all older Digital plus locomotive decoders that support ABC, such as the GOLD and SILVER series), enables hardware-oriented train control. With little effort, ABC does exactly what model railroaders want: precise stopping in front of signals and passage in the opposite direction. Three brake modules are currently offered by the ABC technology:
BM1 realizes the stop before a signal
In addition to the stop function, BM2 also offers a slow-speed function
BM3 enables an automatic route block.
These assemblies affect track sections before the signal, whereby the decoder in the locomotive receives the information about the state of the signal, depending on the direction of travel.
How does ABC work?
ABC devices create track asymmetry, which is detected by ABC-enabled decoders and interpreted according to the individual settings made in the CVs, for example:
decelerate and stop, drive slowly, decelerate, stop and drive off after a defined waiting time in the opposite direction (commute).
The driving information on the track (speed, direction) is not changed by ABC, which is one of the reasons why locomotives with decoders that do not control ABC, just continue to drive normally and unchanged.

What else can ABC do?
While staying in the asymmetrical digital voltage section, the locomotive remains fully controllable:
Functions can be switched, programming during operation (PoM) is possible, the locomotive can move backwards away from the signal, maneuvering when the signal is closed is possible, there are no short circuits when crossing the separation points.

Lenz has been active in the field of model railways for over 30 years. Many of the technologies for model railway control that are taken for granted today are developments from the house of Lenz. The so-called DCC format for the digital control of model railways of all sizes is used worldwide and is thus the most widely used control system of all, declared a standard by the NMRA in 1993.
