Tomix track cleaning and wheel cleaning
The track cleaning car for N gauge is probably the best known product within the Tomix modeltrain range. It is the only vehicle that allows you to choose between the functions of vacuum cleaning, grinding and polishing.
In addition Tomix also offers a track that can be used to polish or grind the wheels of your models. The big advantage is that the track can be used both with powered and unpowered wheels and that it can be used within your layout when running your trains.
Models
Cleaning car: The car works with all standard N gauge model railways. My changing the insert you have a choice between vacuum cleaning, grinding and polishing. Polishing is also possible with the use of cleaning fluid by using the cars built in tank. You need a loco to move the car. The model can be used on analog and DCC layouts. When using DCC we recommend to upgrade the car with a decoder by using the optional available platina fitted with a standard 6-pin plug.
Wheel cleaning track: the track works with all common N gauge systems. By changing the cleaning pads you can you choose between grinding and polishing the wheels of your models. The vibration of the pads can be controlled with a standard 12V transformer. The vehicles are moved with their normal power supply, you can use either analog or DCC control. The track has Code 80 profiles and is 140mm long.
